Agrocluster is promoting the Virtual Promotional Exhibition in the German market, within the EXPORTAGRO project – International promotion of the agro-industrial sector in the Lezíria do Tejo Region, whose objective is to improve the positioning of companies / entities in the global market, allowing that they start exports or reinforce their export potential, consolidating market shares or diversifying their markets, through the following set of actions:

  • Promotional actions with product exhibition (Luxembourg and Germany);
  • Reception of foreign delegations in the Region (isolated entrepeneurial mission and in the International Business Event – Agribusiness 2019);
  • Identification of international business opportunities, aiming to assist in doing business between companies from the Region and the international companies participating in the actions promoted.
Virtual Promotional Exhibition in Germany | From Oct. 15th to Nov. 23rd
Objectives:
  • Promote and enhance the region’s offer in foreign markets, using marketing tools, contributing to the expansion of the client portfolio of companies in the Region.
  • Identify and contact potential clients, importers and partners and / or follow up on contacts previously made;
  • Acquire specific information about the market on target.
Program:
From Oct. 15th to Oct. 31st: Promotional action of food products from Alentejo, focus on potential buyers in the German market – importers / distributors, specialized retail stores, winebar, restaurant or gourmet stores.
Wine and food producers from the Southern Portuguese region of Alentejo are welcoming buyers of food retailers,
delicatessen shops and food journalists to an interactive cooking show of their products on 23rd November.
Alentejo has fast become the hottest region to discover in Portugal with popularity for its sights, foods and wines,
sky-rocket over recent years. The area has one of the richest food cultures in Portugal and boasts local products of
unparalleled quality based on centuries of tradition and craft.
Alentejo oers the chance to discover unique olives and olive oil, cheeses, sausages, cured hams, wines, sweets and
jellies, to name but a few. A 90-min cooking show will be hosted by celebrity Portuguese chef, Kiko Martins and will
focus on Alentejo tradition and how to use the products that it offers. Participants are limited and will be allocated according to relevance.
From Nov. 02nd to Nov. 15th: Twenty-five participants will be selected according with profile and interests registered. Once accepted, a Box will be sent with several products from Alentejo.
November 23rd | 11:00 AM – BERLIN:
Online showcooking, via Zoom, with Chef Kiko Martins.
Selected buyers and some guests from the specialized press will attend the showcooking, whose main objective is to showcase the qualities of the products, their way of preparation and harmonization.
All participants will be assisted in order to meet and contact with portuguese producers that interest most!
